Jacky Wright is a creative consultant, producer, and entrepreneur specializing in storytelling, brand development, and strategic execution. Raised between South Jersey and South Philadelphia, he developed a refined perspective shaped by the contrasting dynamics of urban and suburban life. As a youth Jacky emerged as a standout athlete, excelling in both soccer and basketball. His talents earned him an opportunity to compete at the collegiate level in basketball prior to pursuing his path into the entertainment industry. Shortly after earning his degree, Jacky distinguished himself as a cultural tastemaker in Philadelphia, where he curated events that left an indelible mark on the city’s nightlife. This momentum propelled him into the music industry, first as an A&R for Tyrese Gibson, where he honed his ability to identify and develop talent. He later expanded his expertise as the manager of R&B artist Kenyon Dixon, solidifying his reputation as a skilled strategist and connector.
In 2015, Jacky relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his career on a broader stage. Within a year, he became a day-to-day manager for actor Michael B. Jordan, where he was instrumental in the successful launch of Outlier Society. In this capacity, Jacky facilitated partnerships with globally recognized brands, including Acura, Piaget, and Nike, and earned a credit on Marvel’s Black Panther. Since then, Jacky’s versatility has extended into television, film, live event, and digital media production. He has contributed to projects for leading networks such as BET, MTV, VH1, and REVOLT. As Director of Brand & Creative Services for comedian and actor Tone Bell, he led the development and execution of brand initiatives, and was instrumental in shaping digital campaigns in partnership with Captain Morgan, Pringles, and TiVo. Jacky also served as an executive producer on the comedy album One Night in Austin and directed, produced, and edited the digital holiday campaign St. Patrick's Time Off for Jameson Irish Whiskey.
Most recently, Jacky produced Proud of Me, a short film starring rapper Armani White, which premiered at the 2023 American Black Film Festival as part of YouTube’s Black Voices Festival Showcase. He also played a key role in the 2024 BET Awards marketing campaign, serving as a creative consultant and writer. Currently, Jacky continues to provide consulting services and create content while strategically growing his lifestyle brand, wrighteous™. Founded in 2018, wrighteous™ is where Jacky’s passion for streetwear, storytelling, and purpose collide. Built on the belief that anything is possible, the brand embodies his mission to inspire others, push boundaries and defy the odds.
